Founding Principles

Social Action for Empowerment and Research (SAFER) is a registered non-governmental organisation was founded in 12.07.2002 on a simple but profound principle: to extend a helping hand to the most downtrodden people, marginalised groups vulnerable members and weaker sections of our society for their sustinable and equal development and to conserve our environment and natural resources for well being of present and future generation of our society. Our founder J.James, who is social worker with joining hands of social concern people, envisioned an organisation that would serve as a ‘Social Agent for Sustainable Development’. With a strong commitment to social and environmental justice and a passion for making a difference, they set out to turn this vision into as reality.
